Seasats Enters Australia and New Zealand with Reselling Agreement

US Maritime Drone Manufacturer Expands into Australian Market

Seasats, a US-based maritime drone manufacturer, has entered the Australian market through a reselling agreement with Elysium EPL, a professional services firm. The partnership will enable faster delivery and support for Seasats’ autonomous surface vessels, including the Quickfish and Lightfish drones. The agreement was announced during the Indo-Pacific 2025 International Maritime Exposition in Sydney. Seasats CEO Mike Flanigan stated that the collaboration combines operational experience with Elysium EPL’s regional expertise, allowing for more efficient delivery and support for customers. Elysium EPL will provide sales, integration, and ‘front-line support’ for Seasats’ autonomous vessels. This move comes as the US, Australia, and the UK continue to position themselves for the AUKUS security pact, which focuses on advanced technologies such as unmanned systems. Breaking Defense previously reported on Seasats’ participation in Navy exercises, including Baltic Operations 2025.
