Japanese Companies Collaborate on Digital Solutions for Sustainable Shipping

Mitsubishi Aircraft is part of a consortium of Japanese companies, including Mitsubishi Shipbuilding, TSUNEISHI, and Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, that has been selected by the Japan Science and Technology Agency to develop a simulation platform for the maritime industry. The project aims to create digital solutions for high-performance ships and safe navigation. The consortium was officially launched on October 1st. This initiative may signal a growing focus on digital solutions in the maritime industry.
