Bahrain-Based Carrier Seals Deal with Boeing Amid Global Fleet Modernization
Gulf Air has finalized its order for 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, with options for three more, following negotiations undertaken earlier this year. The deal was signed on November 18, 2025, at the Dubai Airshow 2025. According to AeroTime, Gulf Air’s CEO Martin Gauss stated that the aircraft will be the cornerstone of its fleet, highlighting the airline’s commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. Boeing Commercial Airplanes President Stephanie Pope praised the agreement, noting the 787’s superior efficiency and passenger comfort fit perfectly with Gulf Air’s goals.
