NATO and Ukraine Partner on Classified Cloud Computing for War Analysis
Google has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract to provide classified cloud services to NATO’s Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC) in Poland. The partnership aims to analyze data and lessons-learned from the ongoing war with Russia. Google’s air-gapped cloud system will provide a hardened environment for sensitive data, ensuring NATO’s control and security. The contract was announced on the opening day of NATO’s third public Cloud Conference, where Secretary General Mark Rutte emphasized the importance of innovative industry in supporting the alliance.
