flydubai Expands Fleet with Airbus and Boeing Orders Amid Dubai Airshow
flydubai has placed orders for 150 Airbus A321neo aircraft and 75 B737 MAX aircraft, with the A321neo offering up to 15 additional seats and 2 hours of extra flight time. The delivery calendar for the A321neo order spans 2031-2043. The airline’s CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, outlined the key considerations behind the orders, including the need to stay ahead of the curve and contribute to Dubai’s growth as a major economic and tourism hub. The orders come as flydubai prepares to move to Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport in 2032.
