Space and Defense Technology Merges to Bolster Capabilities

Firefly Aerospace has completed the acquisition of SciTec National Security Technology Company, a leading provider of advanced national security technologies. The deal brings together over four decades of experience in supporting high-stakes national security missions with Firefly’s launch, lunar, and in-space vehicles. According to Firefly CEO Jason Kim, the acquisition accelerates the company’s strategic growth plan and bolsters its existing services with new industry-leading categories for space and defense customers. Breaking Defense reports that SciTec will operate as a Firefly subsidiary under its current business model led by Jim Lisowski.
