Etihad Airway Expands Airbus Fleet with 32 New Aircraft Commitments
Etihad Airways has signed commitments for 32 additional Airbus widebody aircraft, including A350-1000s, A350Fs, and A330-900s, at the Dubai Airshow 2025. The airline has also agreed to lease 13 more A330neos from Avolon, bringing the total A330neo fleet to 15 aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled for 2027 and 2028. Etihad CEO Antonoaldo Neves highlighted the A350’s fuel efficiency and low downtime, while Avolon CEO Andy Cronin welcomed the expansion as a strong endorsement for the A330neo program.
