Etihad and Hong Kong Airlines Strengthen Ties with Expanded Partnership

Etihad Airways and Hong Kong Airlines have formalized a new codeshare agreement and reciprocal loyalty program, enabling travelers to book single tickets for multi-leg journeys and enjoy seamless check-ins and baggage transfer. The partnership, which began in 2014, reflects growing travel demand between the GCC region and major Asian destinations. Etihad and Hong Kong Airlines will work together to enhance connectivity and flexibility for frequent flyers, with the goal of generating significant opportunities for both airlines and improving the travel experience for business and leisure travelers alike. The agreement was formalized at a ceremony in Hong Kong on November 4, 2025, coinciding with the arrival of Etihad’s maiden flight from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Hong Kong International Airport.
