Baltic Country Eyes Additional Launchers for Air Defense Upgrades

Despite delivery delays, Estonia remains committed to acquiring six additional M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) from the US, according to Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur. The country has allocated €2.8 billion for its four-year defense investment plan, which includes upgrades to air defense and deep strike capabilities. Breaking Defense reports that Estonia is seeking to bolster its strategic depth through the acquisition of additional systems, including cruise missiles and loitering munitions.
