Emirates SkyCargo and LODD Autonomous Form Alliance to Explore Next-Gen Air Cargo

Emirates SkyCargo and LODD Autonomous announced a partnership to explore the development and deployment of next-generation air cargo solutions. The partnership will run until the end of 2027 and will focus on the use of VTOL aircraft across Emirates SkyCargo’s global network. LODD Autonomous is developing a hybrid heavy-lift cargo aircraft called Hili, which can carry payloads of up to 250kg across distances of about 700km. The partnership was announced during the Dubai Air Show on November 21, 2025, and was signed by Emirates SkyCargo’s Divisional Senior Vice President, Badr Abbas, and LODD Autonomous’s CEO, Rashid Mattar Al Manai.
