Dubai Airshow 2025: Emirates Expands Long-Term Commitment to Airbus A350

Emirates has ordered eight additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft at the Dubai Airshow 2025, expanding its long-term commitment to the type. The agreement is valued at $3.4 billion and increases Emirates’ total A350-900 backlog to 73 units. Deliveries are scheduled for 2031 as fleet expands to 73 A350-900s. According to AeroTime, CEO Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum cited the A350’s role in network development and capacity growth as driving the expansion.
