Airlines Expand Strategic Alliance Amid Growing Demand for International Travel

Emirates and Air Canada have announced plans to grow their strategic partnership with new global routes, following an order of eight more Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The updated agreement aims to enhance services for customers and cargo shippers, while creating opportunities for new destinations across North America, the Middle East, and Asia. Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President of Cargo division at Air Canada, said renewing the partnership is ‘great news’ for customers and Canada.
