UAE Defense Giant Expands Export Ambitions and Partnerships

EDGE Group, a major Emirati defense conglomerate, made a significant presence at the Dubai Airshow, unveiling several new systems and announcing over a dozen new deals and cooperation agreements. The company is focusing on international market expansion to cover 50% of its expenses, with a $21 billion backlog and engagement in talks with North African and Sub-Saharan African nations. EDGE’s CEO, Hamad Al Marar, emphasized the importance of export sales and localization in a recent interview with Breaking Defense.
