Dubai International Airport Achieves Record-Breaking Passenger Traffic
Dubai International Airport (DXB) has set a record for the busiest quarter in its 65-year history, welcoming 24.2 million passengers in Q3 2025. The airport’s 12-month rolling traffic has reached a record 93.8 million passengers, with 336,000 aircraft movements. The airport’s operational performance remained strong, with 90% of bags delivered to passengers within 45 minutes of aircraft arrival. Dubai Airports is preparing for the eventual handover to Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International (DWC) in the early 2030s, with plans for terminal upgrades and a focus on technology, sustainability, and passenger experience. This is according to Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports.
