Poland Orders Largest Number of Apache Aircraft Outside US
The Polish Armed Forces has finalized an order for 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters from Boeing under a $4.7 billion Foreign Military Sales contract. The Ministry of National Defence is already training pilots and maintenance personnel for the aircraft. Boeing will also assist in maintaining the fleet, setting up training programs, and developing a composite laboratory in Poland. The delivery of the helicopters is expected to begin in 2028. This marks the largest number of Apache aircraft ordered outside of the US in the program’s history.
