Lessor Marks Milestone with New A220 Delivery Amid European Expansion

Aviation Capital Group has delivered its first Airbus A220-300 to ITA Airways, marking a significant milestone for the lessor. The aircraft is the first of five A220-300s that ACG will deliver to the Italian airline in the coming months. ITA Airways aims to have approximately 90% of its fleet composed of new-generation aircraft by 2027. ACG specializes in commercial aircraft leasing and aviation finance, with major customers including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Air France, and Etihad Airways. The company ranks as the 10th largest global lessor, according to KPMG’s Aviation Leaders Report 2025.
