Army Streamlines Acquisition Process to Enhance Readiness and Innovation
The US Army is overhauling its acquisition process to speed up the development and deployment of new technologies. The changes aim to reduce bureaucracy and increase collaboration between different Army offices. The new structure will have six Portfolio Acquisition Executives and a new office for innovation and technology.
