Libyan Carrier Signs 10-Jet Deal with Airbus at Dubai Airshow

Buraq Air has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus for 10 jets at the Dubai Airshow, marking a significant step forward for the Libyan carrier. Fouzi Almiqalh, General Assembly President of Buraq Air, said the A320neo’s efficiency and flexibility will strengthen its core network and enhance passenger offering across both carriers. Benoit de Saint-Exupéry, Airbus EVP Sales, welcomed Buraq Air as a new customer of the A320 Family and expressed confidence in their strategic expansion plan. The agreement reinforces the A320neo as the aircraft of choice for fleet modernisation.
