Airbus Delivery Pace Raises Questions Over 2025 Target

European Planemaker Steadily Increases Monthly Deliveries Amid Supply Chain Challenges

Airbus delivered 78 aircraft in October 2025, bringing its total deliveries for the year to 585. This keeps the company on track to meet its production goals for 2025. However, challenges in the global supply chain, such as engine shortages, may impact delivery rates. According to Airbus’ latest report, the planemaker secured 112 gross orders during October 2025 and has a total of 722 aircraft in backlog. Despite this, the company expects to achieve an adjusted EBIT of roughly €7 billion and free cash flow before customer financing of about €4.5 billion for 2025.
