Low-Cost Carrier to Launch Daily Flights from New Airport
Air India Express, a low-cost subsidiary of Air India, will begin daily flights from Navi Mumbai International Airport on December 25, 2025, with service to Bengaluru and Delhi. The airline plans to increase its service to twice daily on both routes starting January 1, 2026. Air India Express expressed its enthusiasm for working with the airport, which it sees as a key opportunity to grow its network and serve the region’s largest transport hub. The airline’s expansion is part of a broader trend of new airport openings in India, with other carriers also announcing inaugural flights from the airport on its opening day.
