Air China Cargo Expands Fleet with New A350F Order
Air China Cargo, a subsidiary of Air China, has signed a purchase agreement for six A350F freighters. The aircraft, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, will have a range of 8,700 km and enter service in 2027. Air China Cargo is the first Chinese mainland customer to order the A350F, which will enhance its capability to withstand risks in long-term operation. The company currently operates a mix of Boeing and Airbus freighters, including six A330-200P2Fs, three 747-400FSCDs, and 13 777-200Fs. The order was confirmed by Airbus on November 14, 2025, and is part of the company’s efforts to expand its fleet and improve efficiency. The A350F is part of the A350 family aircraft, which has garnered significant attention from customers worldwide, including 74 orders for the A350F from 12 customers.
