Wichita to Host Advanced Jet Trainer Program, Creating Jobs and Investment
Textron Aviation Defense has announced plans to assemble the Beechcraft M-346N at its east campus in Wichita, Kansas, if awarded the U.S. Navy’s UJTS contract. The program is expected to create an estimated 100 direct manufacturing jobs and invest over $38 million in modernizing existing manufacturing space. According to Breaking Defense, the company expects to support the Navy’s objective of accelerating Initial Operational Capability (IOC). The Beechcraft M-346N offers a reliable, high-performance solution for advanced naval training.
