Textron Aviation Unveils Enhanced Business Jet with Advanced Technology Features

Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company, announced that the Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2 has achieved FAA type certification. Based on customer feedback, enhancements include Garmin autothrottle technology, an additional 4.5 inches of legroom for pilots, and a fully customizable cabin environment. The aircraft features a trusted avionics system with Garmin G3000 software and hardware, as well as optional Enhanced Vision System (EVS) and intuitive touch screen interface. With a maximum range of 2,040 nm and standard seating for nine passengers, the CJ3 Gen2 is expected to enter into service this year.
