Piper Aircraft has secured its largest domestic trainer order in company history from the University of North Dakota’s John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, Breaking Defense reports. The contract is valued at approximately $155M and includes up to 188 aircraft. This historic agreement solidifies a nearly four-decade partnership between Piper and UND, further emphasizing the importance of aviation education and research in the US.
