Firefly Aerospace has been awarded a $176.7 million NASA Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) contract to deliver five payloads to the Moon’s south pole in 2029. The mission is expected to generate $200 million annually for NASA. According to Firefly CEO Jason Kim, the company aims to continue setting new records in its missions to come with its active production line of Blue Ghost landers.
