French Aviation Heritage Explored in Latest Issue of Le Fana de l'Aviation

For its July 2025 issue, Le Fana de l’Aviation (issue 668) explores the history of the Dewoitine D.520 fighter aircraft. The editorial team examines the aircraft’s design and development, based on pre-war test pilot Marcel Doret’s notebooks. A long article is also dedicated to the 1975 Paris Air Show, featuring a clash between the Dassault Mirage F1E and the General Dynamics F-16. This issue is part of Le Temps des Hélices 2025 airshow coverage and includes an interview with Air and Space painter Lucio Perinotto by editor-in-chief Alexis Rocher. The magazine also celebrates the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany with a focus on the Douglas R4D-6 ‘Ready 4 Duty’.
