Dassault Aviation and French AI Agency AMIAD Unveil Partnership to Enhance Military Aviation Capabilities
Dassault Aviation and the French Agency for AI in Defence (AMIAD) have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop air combat solutions leveraging AI technologies. The partnership aims to integrate autonomous and supervised AI systems to enhance air operations and strengthen France’s national defense capability. This collaboration reflects Dassault Aviation’s commitment to innovation and its recognition of the importance of AI in modern air combat. The partnership was announced at the Paris Air Show. The French Ministry of Defence created AMIAD in May 2024 to accelerate the development and deployment of AI technologies. AMIAD supervises and coordinates AI projects within the ministry and builds expertise in AI and manages project portfolios with the defense AI ecosystem.
