Firefly Aerospace Partners with Honeybee Robotics for Lunar Rover on Moon Mission

Firefly Aerospace Teams with Blue Origin's Honeybee Robotics for Gruithuisen Domes Expedition

Firefly Aerospace has partnered with Honeybee Robotics to provide a lunar rover for its upcoming mission to the Gruithuisen Domes. The rover will carry NASA instruments to investigate the composition of the Gruithuisen Domes. Firefly’s Blue Ghost lander will deploy the rover, which will travel along the southern edge of the Gruithuisen Gamma Dome and through a boulder field to reach the rim of a recent impact crater. This mission is part of Firefly’s third mission to the Moon, following successful previous missions to the Moon’s surface. Firefly Aerospace is an end-to-end responsive space company with launch, lunar, and on-orbit services. Honeybee Robotics is a vertically integrated aerospace and robotics company focused on developing components, subsystems, and systems for almost all bodies in the Solar System. This partnership was first reported by Firefly Aerospace.
