Pilatus Wins Contract for Advanced Basic Flight Training Solution

The Koninklijke Luchtmacht has selected the PC-7 MKX training system from Pilatus to provide an integrated and cost-effective solution for its military pilots. The contract includes delivery of eight aircraft and associated ground-based systems, with a planned delivery date in the first half of 2027. Breaking Defense reports that the Dutch Ministry of Defense is confident in Pilatus’ ability to deliver a comprehensive learning environment. The PC-7 MKX system features advanced VR components, interactive wallboards, and virtual reality modules to enhance immersion and engagement for student pilots and instructors.
