Firefly Aerospace to Create 50 New Jobs, Boost STEM Outreach in Central Texas

Firefly Aerospace has been awarded an $8.2 million grant from the Texas Space Commission to expand its spacecraft manufacturing capabilities in Central Texas. The funding will support infrastructure improvements, workforce training, and STEM outreach programs. Firefly plans to create 50 new jobs and expand its facility, with the expansion expected to be completed by Q4 2025.
