Cedar Park, Texas-Based Firefly Aerospace Appoints Interim CEO Amid CEO Departure

Firefly Aerospace has appointed Peter Schumacher as interim CEO, following the departure of Bill Weber. Schumacher previously served as interim CEO and will lead the company’s 700 employees. A Transition Committee, led by Chris Emerson, will support Schumacher during the search for a permanent CEO. This move comes as Firefly continues to develop its launch vehicle technology.
