Falcon Heavy To Send Life Hunting Rover To Red Planet
SpaceX has been selected by NASA to launch the European Space Agency’s Rosalind Franklin rover to Mars in late 2028. The rover, which will search for signs of life on the Red Planet, will be launched atop a Falcon Heavy rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This marks SpaceX’s first Mars launch contract, and the company is also working on its own Mars mission using its Starship megarocket. The mission is part of the ExoMars exploration program, which was established about 15 years ago with NASA as a key partner, as reported by Unknown Source.
