Pilatus to Expand Production Capacity with Swiss Government-Backed Takeover

Pilatus will acquire RUAG Aerostructures Schweiz AG’s workforce of around 230 employees and machinery, with the goal of increasing its own production capacity and adding new competencies. The takeover is part of the Swiss government’s strategic goals for RUAG International. Pilatus will manufacture components at a new facility located at Emmen airfield in Central Switzerland.
