Firefly Aerospace to Support DARPA's 10-Year Lunar Architecture Initiative
Firefly Aerospace has been selected to develop an analytical framework for aggregated on-orbit spacecraft hubs in support of DARPA’s 10-Year Lunar Architecture (LunA-10) capability study. The framework will provide on-demand refueling, delivery, transport, and de-orbiting services using Firefly’s Elytra orbital vehicles. The project aims to define robotic interfaces, operational protocols, and distributed controls for on-orbit services. The initial hubs will aggregate at the Earth-Moon Lagrange points to provide rapid, cost-effective mission services. This project was first reported by Firefly Aerospace.
