Firefly and Xtenti Partner for On-Orbit Payload Deployment

Firefly Aerospace and Xtenti, LLC, have announced a new agreement to conduct a responsive space mission using Firefly’s Elytra orbital vehicle and Xtenti’s FANTM-RiDE payload dispenser. Scheduled to launch in 2024, the mission will demonstrate the responsive capabilities of these systems and support Xtenti’s follow-on study contract with the National Reconnaissance Office. Firefly is an end-to-end space transportation company, while Xtenti is a provider of paradigm-shifting hardware and services. The partnership was first reported by Firefly Aerospace.
