End-to-End Space Transportation Company Partners with Lockheed Martin on Technology Demonstration Mission
Firefly Aerospace, an end-to-end space transportation company, has signed a launch agreement with Lockheed Martin to support a technology demonstration mission aboard its Alpha vehicle. The partnership represents a significant expansion of Firefly’s services, Breaking Defense reports. As part of the agreement, Firefly will provide on-demand launch services for government and commercial customers. The Alpha rocket offers affordable and responsive launch capabilities, with the capability to lift over 1,000 kg to low Earth orbit.
