Pilatus PC-21 Training System to Support Spanish Air Force Operations
The Spanish Air Force has ordered 16 more Pilatus PC-21s to enhance its pilot training capabilities. The new aircraft will be used for elementary and advanced training, and will be delivered to the Academia General del Aire and Centro Logístico de Armamento y Experimentación. The order includes a PC-21 simulator, cockpit procedure trainers, and mission planning and debriefing systems. Pilatus CEO Markus Bucher praised the Spanish Air Force’s decision, citing the PC-21’s efficiency and effectiveness in reducing training costs. The order was first reported by Pilatus.
