Indian Companies Partner To Build Pathfinder Satellite
Indian companies Pixxel and Sarvam have announced a strategic partnership to develop and build India’s first orbital data centre satellite, the Pathfinder. The satellite will be designed, built, launched, and operated by Pixxel, with Sarvam providing the AI backbone. The Pathfinder will host data centre-class GPUs and a hyperspectral imaging camera, enabling real-time data processing and analysis. The project aims to reduce the delay between data capture and decision-making, and is scheduled to launch in Q4 2026. This development was reported by Developing Telecoms.
