Israeli Carrier Expands Premium Service To Short Haul Routes
Arkia has introduced business class on its flights to Europe, starting with the Paris route, offering spacious seating, VIP service, and lounge access. The move comes in response to changing consumption habits among Israeli passengers, who are willing to invest in comfort and upgraded services even on short-haul flights. According to Arkia’s CEO, Oz Berlovitz, strong demand for premium products led to the expansion. The airline plans to convert an additional A320 aircraft for expanded service to other European destinations. Ticket prices start at $849, making it one of the more accessible premium classes in the market, as reported by The Jerusalem Post.
