Veteran Operating Leader Joins Space Company Amid Rapid Expansion Plans

Firefly Aerospace has appointed Dan Fermon as Chief Operating Officer, bringing decades of experience to the role. Prior to joining Firefly, Fermon was a Vice President at AE Industrial Partners, where he improved operational performance through cross-portfolio projects and synergies execution. As COO, Fermon will focus on scaling production and operations, including ramping up Alpha program launches and expanding facilities in Texas and California. Firefly has also strengthened its executive leadership team with recent appointments to its Advisory Board and Board of Directors.
