Swiss Aircraft Manufacturer Expands US Presence with Acquisition

Pilatus has announced plans to acquire Skytech Inc., a specialist service provider and aircraft vendor with two locations in Maryland and South Carolina. The entire workforce of around 120 employees will continue to be employed by Pilatus as part of an upcoming succession plan. Skytech has operated as a Pilatus Authorised Sales & Service Centre since 1993, and the business will remain independent with responsibility for servicing and sales of PC-24s and PC-12s on the East Coast. The acquisition is expected to allow Pilatus to expand its direct involvement in the US market, which is crucial to the company’s growth.
