American Companies Collaborate on Domestic Launch Vehicle and Space Station Resupply
Northrop Grumman and Firefly Aerospace have partnered to develop a new launch vehicle, the Antares 330, which will utilize Firefly’s Miranda engines and Northrop Grumman’s avionics and software. The partnership aims to provide a domestic solution for commercial, civil, and national security space launch markets. Firefly’s propulsion technology will minimize launch site upgrades, and the new stage will significantly increase Antares mass to orbit capability. This collaboration was first reported by Firefly Aerospace.
