Pilatus Delivers Advanced Training System to Spanish Air Force

The Spanish Air Force has received its first PC-21, courtesy of Pilatus. The aircraft will be integrated into the 792 Squadron at the Spanish Air Force Academy, where it will provide advanced training for future pilots. According to Pilatus, the PC-21’s training system includes state-of-the-art simulators and virtual reality tools. Spain is the third European air force to adopt the PC-21, with a total of 24 aircraft expected to be delivered by June 2022. The delivery was made possible through a competitive evaluation process, which saw Pilatus prevail over international competition in 2020.
