Swedish Air Ambulance Organisation Takes to the Skies with Pilatus Super Versatile Jet

The Swedish Air Ambulance Organisation has completed the maiden flight of its first Pilatus PC-24, marking an important milestone in the programme. Despite the disruption caused by the covid-19 pandemic, Pilatus successfully met the production schedule. The aircraft will provide advanced medical assistance and access to fast, professional aeromedical care in Sweden. According to Pilatus, the PC-24 offers numerous advantages for air ambulance missions, including its flexibility, STOL credentials, and large cargo door. The full KSA fleet of six medevac PC-24s is scheduled for delivery in 2021.
