Pilatus PC-24 Chosen for National Air Ambulance Service
Pilatus has been awarded a contract to deliver six PC-24s to Kommunalförbundet Svenskt Ambulansflyg (KSA) for use in a national air ambulance service. The aircraft will provide aeromedical care across Sweden and operate on short runways. The contract is a significant milestone for KSA, which aims to ensure equal access to healthcare for all residents. The PC-24’s flexibility and capacity make it an ideal choice for medevac missions. This is the second public sector organisation in Europe to operate the PC-24 as an ambulance aircraft, following the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia. The aircraft will fly 6,000 hours of rescue missions annually. This contract was first reported by Pilatus.
