Firefly Aerospace Expands Leadership Team with Seasoned Aerospace Expert

Firefly Aerospace has appointed Shea Ferring as Vice President of Mission Assurance, bringing over 25 years of experience in space system design, integration, and test. Ferring joins Firefly from NASA Launch Services Program, ECAPS, Vencore, and Orbital ATK. Firefly CEO Dr. Tom Markusic stated that Ferring’s expertise will enhance the company’s mission assurance capabilities. Ferring is an expert in launch vehicle design, qualification, integration, test, and flight. He holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University.
