Pilatus Achieves Certification Milestone for PC-24 Business Jet
Pilatus has obtained type certificates from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the Super Versatile Jet, a business jet that will be delivered to customers starting in December 2017. The certification process involved rigorous testing, including extreme environments and bird impacts. Pilatus invested over 500 million Swiss francs in the PC-24 development program and has 23 deliveries planned for 2018. The company’s Chairman, Oscar J. Schwenk, praised the achievement and thanked customers and aviation authorities for their trust and confidence.
