Swiss Aviation Manufacturer Sees Strong Sales Growth Amid Challenges

Pilatus reported a successful business year in 2016, with sales revenue reaching 821 million Swiss francs and operating earnings at 89 million Swiss francs. The company created 56 additional jobs across its Group and delivered 117 aircraft to customers. Despite a drop in sales revenue compared to previous years, Pilatus’s performance exceeded expectations. Orders in hand as of the end of 2016 totalled 1.7 billion Swiss francs, not including PC-24 sales revenue.
