Swiss Manufacturer Exceeds Expectations with Record Sales and Operating Earnings
Pilatus reported a successful 2016, with sales revenue of 821 million Swiss francs and operating earnings of 89 million Swiss francs. The company delivered 117 aircraft to customers and created 56 new jobs. The PC-24 development program is proceeding according to plan, and the company is investing in new production processes and facilities. Pilatus’s General Aviation operations accounted for 56% of total sales, with sales of the PC-12 NG up 30% on the previous year. The French Air Force and the Royal Jordanian Air Force have ordered additional PC-21s, and QinetiQ has ordered two PC-21s for the Empire Test Pilots’ School.
