Swiss Business Jet Completes Maiden Flight with Promising Results

The third and final PC-24 prototype, P03, took off from Buochs airfield today for its maiden flight. The aircraft flew across Central Switzerland for 2 hours and 5 minutes, marking another major success for Pilatus. According to Oscar J. Schwenk, Chairman of the Board of Directors, the data collected so far indicate that the PC-24 exceeds published performance figures. Certification flights will be flown with the series-conform P03. The first two prototypes have flown a total of 1350 hours to date. Initial deliveries of the 84 pre-ordered aircraft are expected immediately after certification is obtained.
